BACO-UK: MEET & GREET EVENT - 2023

On 9th December 2023, BACO-UK hosted a First ever 'Get Together Event' in East London. This was organised for all 'Banyankole People' domiciled in the UK. Previously, Banyankole community in the UK had never been able to meet in person. Thanks to a strong team of professional volunteers that committedly collaborated and delivered a successful event. Approximately just over 200 Banyankole from across the UK, attended with their children and families.

Activities delivered at the event included an exotic Dinner, Cultural Dance & Entertainment, Children Activities, Networking, gospel magic delivered by Bob, and also important speeches including by a Representative from The Uganda High Commission, London.

Future BACO-UK events will be hosted in July & December 2024. BACO-UK also hosts educational virtual events every after two weeks, and these are normally focused on health & wellbeing, Children, Families & Culture, education & employment. These events have already impacted many Banyankole people across the UK.
