BACO-UK was established in March 2023, and was subsequently launched in July 2023, with a desire to promote Unity, Collaboration, and Economic Empowerment amongst the Banyankole people domiciled in the UK.
Mobilisation
Mobilise and promote social cohesion among the Banyankole community living in the UK by fostering unity, cultural pride, and active participation.
Engagement
Provide compassionate support during life’s critical moments, addressing mental health challenges, family breakdowns, bereavement, and other essential social needs.
Empowerment
Identify and share information on economic opportunities including jobs, business ventures, and entrepreneurship to empower communities in the UK and Uganda.
Togetherness
Provide each other support during critical times such as: Mental Health & Wellbeing Crises, Family Relationship Breakdown, Bereavement and other important social aspects of our lives.
